I might look like a mild-mannered OCAD student and aspiring copywriter, but by night I am a video game addict who drinks way too much tea for my own good.

It came to my attention that I had not posted any of my animations so they could be seen outside of my Thesis Presentation. I borrowed heavily from Megaman sprites in order to do these, as well as some Kingdom Hearts and Spirit of Mana sprites for the baddies.

This is a link to the eReport, which is pretty awesome in itself.

These billboards for Bullfrog power would be designed to go next to the businesses that use them, showing a clear connection between the billboard and the store.
Who would use cow farts to sell ice cream? Ben and Jerry’s, that’s who.
I put down my much-neglected Pokemon Black in order to finally start reading this book, which I’ve had since the first week it was released but never had time to read. It has been well worth it so far. Jane McGonigal has been a huge source of inspiration for my thesis, and this book is incredibly insightful and informative.
The final element to my thesis campaign. These kiosks will be placed in malls, school fairs and festivals like The Exhibition. Here parents will be able to interact with the system with their children, while personnel tell them about how the actions that the child takes playing video games can enrich other aspects of their lives. After the child is done they will get a t-shirt related to the game they play.
The newspaper ad for my thesis campaign. Here Playstation would buy out an entire spread, but it would fill the center with stories of achievements by kids and for kids.
The app for my thesis. Available for download from the website, it would send parents on a series of challenges in their area. Once completed, they would have another “I have” to add to their profiles on the website.
